Ahoy Captains,

In and Out of RoadTown personally around Noon Tues Aug 25 with the Curfew starting Wed at 5 PM
Like a Pirate Freeport it looks like the Government Rules are being taken with a ‘grain of Caribbean salt’.
At this marina everything is open including the grocery store, laundromat, marina office, car rental, yacht brokerage, and the restaurant.
Driving into town I see vessels underway in the Channel, gas stations open, and government and private construction crew at work.
In RoadTown there is heavy vehicle traffic and heavy foot traffic.
All the Essential Services such as banks, with the new normal 45 minute wait, grocery, and bakeries are open. And, most of the Non-essential retail such as hardware and clothing and electronics and department stores are open.
Most of the restaurants and all the food trucks are open, and the grocery store hot delis are busy with line ups.
I see uniformed staff working on the dock at the largest Yacht Charter company, and ferries being offloaded at the terminal dock.
It appears today, for those persons concerned about Lockdowns and Quarantines and Shutdowns every time there is a documented infection, that the BVI has crossed that Rubicon.
It appears today, everybody is wearing a mask and nobody is using their turn signal, so, just another Tortola Flavored Day in Paradise here.

And from the Governor - "The Governor stated that restrictions on the movement of vessels within Territorial waters will remain in place and that all private and commercial vessels shall be prohibited from travelling within the Territorial waters, with the exception of fisherfolk where authorised and intra-island ferries."
