Actually, I would very much disagree with you there in terms of the benefit to the island. Many people will go directly to and from the ship, yes, but whatever the percentage is that does extend on one or either end of the cruise will spend money in terms of lodging, food, transportation, etc., and each pax will spend MUCH much more than folks who are just in port for a day. Right on. I agree completly. Just the revenu from transportation to and from PJIA and cruise port will generate money for the locals.
