Using blurred memories, credit card receipts and hopefully some photos off a charging iPhone I will reconstruct Day 3
Cloudy and off and on rains and very windy. A kite surfers paradise is what our day was like at Wai. Crystal working the bar kept is from Getting thirsty or go hungry Her spicy Bloody Mary with Tito’s is really outstanding. I had the couchon burger and the princess jerked chicken.
When the sun was out we were out. Luis stopped by. His store washed away during the hurricane, he now sells his wears out of a Super U grocery bag. It was good to see him and hope that one day he can get his shop back.
As our afternoon was slipping away we ventured to Bikini to watch the bocce ball tourney. This crowd of locals, tourist from Buffalo played round after round. We all drank buckets and buckets of cold Presidente and some Tito’s and tonic.
We made friends with some good people from Amsterdam who also liked Presidente and spoke English along with four or five others.
We then moved over to a very busy Yellow Sub for just one more…..
Later security cameras might show two very drunk Americans stumbling their way towards their apartment
Fade to black...
