My wife and I just returned from Coyaba . Overall it was a nice vacation . Resort staff was friendly and accommodating , water was warm and food in Vineyard and Docks was excellent . Very interesting mix of international guests . Service in the restaurants was very good during breakfast and lunch time . At the dinner time , it was not as smooth as expected . Just a word of caution - beach at Coyaba can be very windy . If you have low tolerance to the wind , it can really spoil your vacation . Also building 100 , which has some GDN DLX rooms ,is located very close to the road and traffic noise can be quite noticeable , especially in the morning . Also decor of this particular type of the room doesn’t feel very Caribbean - it’s a "Quality Suites Hotel meets Bombay Company Store" . Ocean view suites at Coyaba are much better choice . Coyaba belongs to the Small Luxury Hotel Group and it’s a good resort , but do not expect the same level of luxury service as in some other hotels from SLH .
