Rendezvous lounge has entertainment on Friday nights with alfredo on guitar accompanied with a drummer / keyboard (he plays both at the same time) really enjoyed the music that we were thinking about hiring them next year when we rent a villa and have private chef cook dinner played a Peter Frampton song and had me from there The duo as plays at RV at the Sunday jazz brunch which has been mentioned several times in forum the menu is varied but we always start with 2 tuna tar tars simply done with avocado wife enjoyed Chilean sea bass while I enjoyed house made gnocchi in a carbonara sauce the owner's dog follows her around while she works If you dine early they do have have a happy hour with 1/2 price drinks
Mama's pizza was busy but menu seemed ordinary I believe a Thai restaurant has taken over the old Marios
there is also another restaurant at the end closer to the docks a few steps down from the promenade
I have a two week review coming mostly about restaurants. Not to be missed would be Le Pressior in Grand Case, a bit pricier but worth it, they are definitely a notch above and we do consistently frequently visit Le Cottage, La Villa, Bistro Caribes, Auberge Gourmand Our second favorite restaurant was Jai's contemporary Indian cuisine in Simpson Bay, chef worked under one of your favorites Dino at Temptation / Rare but I think his food was better Maybe overlooked is Astrolab in Orient with surf & turfs night and a lobster night all included in the 49 euro prix fix with live music service was awesome and very thoughtful celebrating our anniversary
