Been here in Grand Case a week now. The gendarme presence is definitely noticeable everywhere in town. On foot and by vehicle. The local police are also very visible but we have only seen them patrolling by vehicle.
Some good news about the teens on motorbikes: two were apprehended early yesterday morning and a third is being watched closely and has not been doing any of his loud "stunt" driving up and down the boulevard. It's been nice and quiet.
Pizza: had Le Quinze the other night and it was very good. Had Mamma Mia last night and, on our opinions, it was even better and much less expensive. Thin and very similar to wood-fired.
Went to see Cheryl and she seems to be doing great. The food was excellent as always.
Rented chairs at Guy's Driftwood Boat Bar on Saturday and enjoyed the calm water and lots of sand on the beach. Stopped by yesterday and it was still calm and full of sand.
Staying close to home today - lots of ships in town today.
