Sigh, if only some of the other more convenient hotels weren't so over the top priced.
Have you tried Olga's Fancy. We stayed at Olga's inbound and Mafolie on the outbound and both similarly priced. Enjoyed them both.
Enjoyed Mafolie resturant, but if it is closed (Tuesdays), then I would check on staying at Olga's with several restaurants within an easy walk.
