At first I thought he was talking about the original "Rick's place" that use to be by the marina bridge in Simpson bay! That was a cool place!! Actually, the original Ric's Place was just off of Olde St. in the early 1990's. We were in the original location once when visiting off a cruise and many times at the other locations. They then moved to Front St. and then to Simpson Bay near the bridge before selling the restaurant. It changed hands a couple of times; it was a BBQ restaurant that the owners eventually ran into the ground. Ric has since passed and I still stay in touch with Kathy, she resides in NC now. This is a totally different place.
