Just love Lake Como and the surrounding towns. If you make it to southern Italy, try and get across to Lipari ( https://www.italyheaven.co.uk/sicily/aeolian-islands/lipari.html ) I just spent one night there this year on a sailing delivery from Spain to Turkey. The Aeolian islands are magnificent although I suspect I'd need to take out a second mortgage to be able to afford a proper stay there.
