We book as early as possible and not just accept the changes, we expect changes. From Portland Oregon you are pretty much guaranteed changes but once we have our big seats we always seem to work out as good or even a better routing as the changes happen. Same here out of SEATAC. We book our tickets for the Big seats with AA as soon as they come online expecting changes.
