We decided to go to the “new” Karakter today…. What a disappointment that was! The menu is literally a 1/4 of what it was before, prices are way too high, the bloody beer is $5! We were told that in order to have free chairs we need to spend at least $50 on food and drinks…. The place was half empty, they had probably 2 dozens chairs outside and 1/3 were empty… We decided to walk to the Mary Boon, got the chairs and a super friendly service. The food was great too and very reasonably priced. Last year we noticed a big change with Karakter but this year the change was really bad!
