Your credit card may or may not have coverage for your rental car. Some coverages are only domestic (home). Some are international. Understand the difference between Primary and Secondary, and when your card provides each. Check with your provider, Figure it out.

No credit card insurance that I know of specifically includes coverage for local medical bills. Some Medicare Advantage plans might. Figure it out,

As to a medevac if you are relying on your credit card then they may fly you home, but you’re eventually going to pay big bucks. The SXM forum has a sponsor who you should look at. I use a different one, but as with any big decision, you should compare your options and use the best one for your personal situation. Figure it out, and expect to pay big bucks if you haven’t pre-bought a plan.
