We're there at that same time of year, and often encounter heavy traffic from around 4-7 PM. If there's an accident even on the hill into Philipsburg, traffic will quickly back up past the airport. One day I got out of the car across from Dinghy Dock, walked to Market Garden, shopped, and walked back to the car. My husband had moved perhaps three or four car lentghs in that time. We did learn there was an accident that day.
