First let me say Aruba was probably one of our very best trips to date. The rennasaince marina was the perfect place for us to stay. It was more adult, which suits us just fine since we have no children and the staff was awesome. By the second day everyone new our names, what we drink and they were all exceptionally friendly. We were situated right in the swing of things, restaurants, shopping and the private beach was very nice. We crammed our stay with alot of activities. The catamaran trip to the German WWII sunken freighter was unreal. The jeep tour (I DROVE!) was a blast and we went horseback riding with the ponderosa tour and that was fun. Kenny looked great on his horse (john wayne eat your heart out!) We tried the all-inclusive for the first time. We both enjoyed it, but probably wouldn't do it again. Kenny is not a drinker, and I had quite a hard time drinking for two! (NOT) anyway, LG steakhouse was superb and we dined there twice, filets & ribeye, and what about that chimmichurri sauce, OH MY GOD, I wanted to drink it! Don Carlos was just ok. The waterfront crabhouse was very good. The crepe place at the seaport was great, Kenny loves the berry crepes, and watching the birds stick their beaks in the honey and jam pots on the tables was so cute. We dined a bella luna, dinner was exceptional and the staff was like family. We are in love with aruba and are already planning our next trip, anyone know of any timeshares? let us know, we're keeping our suitcases by the front door.
