I will chime and agree with most of the above posts. We used to bring in a few frozen meat items but have recently decided to either eat out or buy stuff on Island.

We always packed in a soft side cooler inside of checked baggage and it is always still frozen on arrival.

I remember one time we had an unplanned ugly trip (6am to 11pm from BOS with two cancellations and diversions) and the meat was reasonably frozen the next day. We just used it as our 1st few meals...

If you want your special steaks go for it....
