Restaurants WANT people to come to them. The reason they have wifi is to attract people to come in. Many places don't even have a password. I travel around a great deal on SXM when on vacation and I haven't seen very many, if any, unsecured hotspots. It is one thing to stop by a restaurant / bar and have a beer or lunch and use wifi and another to park just in range and "leech" off their system.
