when I worked nights bartending at the local ELKS Club in Gladstone, NJ... (about 25 years ago)...
we'd always make pickeled eggs with beets, onions and cauliflower tops...
and let them sit for a month or so...
Yummm!...
a red egg, a couple of slices of red onions and beets and really RED cauliflower!!!
with S&P! and accompanied with an ice cold beer!
nothin better during a football game!
