Just a guess but I would estimate perhaps 10 or so 1 bedroom units. I have stayed in one before and they are scattered throughout the resort.

I stayed in a one bedroom in the centre of the resort overlooking the pool and the ocean. That was a great location!

We stayed in a one bedroom close to the center of the resort. It was large & in a great location. The bedroom was on the back of the unit so you might hear a bit of noise it it never really bothered us.

I thought they were all toward the center, over looking the pool. I would say though that it is also very possible that you book a one bedroom and they might put you in a two bedroom. As far as location, I don't really think it matters that much. It's not a huge complex and all units have ocean view. I think that they seem to have finally got the elevator problems fixed, so, in a perfect world, higher up the better, but it really shouldn't matter that much.

We stayed in a 1 BR. There was just my husband and I. Perfect location overlooking the pool in the center of the building. The rest of the unit was just as large as the 2 BR. It was very nice. May I ask what price you got for the 1 BR and what time of year?

That's a decent price for those units. Isn't "tax" 20% though?? Deceptive advertising, I think, as tax is only something like 5%. A lot of places do that though.. Oh, and plus the $10 a day resort fee..

They do state at booking what the tax rate is so there is no deception.

No, they don't. They state it is 20% TAX . The TAX is not 20%. They charge tax AND SERVICE charge, for a total of 20%. TAX is not 20%.

Except the government tax is 5% and I believe the additional 15%, while billed as a tax is actually a service charge that goes to the resort.

Below is an example from The Horny Toad and their pricing:

"Rates are subject to an additional 5% government tax."

That is a fantastic rate!! You will be very pleased with the 1 BR unit. The KIT/DR/LR area might even be a little larger than in the 2 BR. Enjoy your vacation!

Pretty decent, around $142/night total. I just checked booking direct through the resort and for 4 nights in early Nov. a 2 bedroom unit totaled out at about $174/night.
