Can anyone lead me in the right direction to secure a 2 bedroom for 5 nights at RP (June 15 check in - June 20 check out)?
Thanks.

Since Royal Palm is basically a timeshare most available rentals will be by the week with either a Sat., Fri. or Sun. beginning and in that order. To rent from an owner you would have to rent back to back weeks. I would suggest checking HERE. I did a quick check and found availability for around $215/night. There are taxes and resort fees involved that bring the total daily rate to around $270/night.

It is going to be tough to rent 5 days any other way. You might also try some of the travel sites.

Go to "Main Index" then to FAQ section and check for timeshare rental sites -Carol recently posted it.

You can rent at Royal Palm through Expedia. I just double checked.

You can also rent from a diamond points owner for specific split week days without having to rent back to back weeks and start your days mid week and ending mid week. Might not get same room for the duration of the stay but the resort does its best to keep you in same room. Less costly for the resort to do so.

You can also try cheapcaribbeanweeks.com. I have had lots of luck renting from Jackie, the owner. She does mainly timeshares, but has broken weeks many times. Good luck! I'm an owner at the Royal Palm, and she has placed my kids in available units there, several times, on unusual time periods.

You can rent RP for any number of days on Hotels.com. I put in Philiosburg, NA as a destination and keep scrolling until I find RP. I have gotten very good rates there.

Yes, RP is available for specific days as a hotel for sure on several websites. It costs more than renting as a timeshare, but for specific days, like for this poster, probably makes more sense.

I checked on Hotels.com and the non-refundable rate is $134 per night or $179 for refundable. A very good deal. You may need to be a free member to access those rates.

Is that for a 1 bedroom or a 2 bedroom unit? When I checked Expedia and also Hotels.com for a 2 bedroom the rate was $215/night + taxes and resort fees plus a $50 fee at the resort. Hotels.com is showing the 1 bedroom at the $179 rate currently and I did not see the lower price you mentioned. I am not a member so perhaps that skewed the rates.

Be aware there is between 20% and 25% additional taxes and resort fees added to the daily rate. For 5 nights I came up with a total price of approx $1390 or around $278/night for a 2 bedroom. Taxes/fees vary slightly from site to site but are within a few $$ of booking directly with the resort.

I suggest you sign up as a Hotels.com member. There is no cost. The lower rate I quoted was for a one bedroom but after renting there six times feacb time for a one bedroom they have always provided me a two bedroom. The resort fee is $10 per day.

Thanks but I am not the one looking to rent, just trying to help the original poster. I would be leery of suggesting they rent a 1 bedroom going in if in fact they know they need 2 bedrooms. There is also 20% to 25% additional in taxes/service charges in addition to the resort fee.

I have stayed at Royal Palm multiple times and in all variations of their units. I rent direct from owners.

We paid $907 total for 5 nights at RP through Expedia. There is an additional $10 per day charge ($50) charged at the hotel. Very happy with that! Now we need to find a good full size car. Again, you all are so wonderful. Thank you!!!

Good deal. A "full size" car is not what you see in a lot of rentals. Contact one of the sponsors, some of them have SUV's that might work for you.
