You can walk to either, but they're a solid half-mile from the terminal. Whether that walk is "easy" will depend on your health, how much gear you have with you, how hot it is outside, and how comfortable your shoes are. I have done that walk while hauling all my scuba gear, and I was significantly sweaty by the time I got to the terminal. I have stayed at the Beachcomber several times. It's not fancy, but the rooms have been clean, the water hot, the AC cold, and they have a great beach bar. I'm not sure what the going rates are these days (for my last two BVI trips I've flown directly to EIS), but the last time I stayed at the Beachcomber was about 50% cheaper than the Emerald Beach.

CottageGirl said: Thanks for all the info - went ahead and booked the Emerald Beach (rate w/taxes was $307 for beach front king bed room). It's a bit higher than I was looking to spend, but we're getting a good deal on our Cane Garden Bay Airbnb so it all washes out. Looks like a nice place! I just booked 3 rooms at Emerald Beach for one night in April, paying $202 a night for the beach front King. We were going to give Lindbergh Bay a try, but I see their bar and restaurant are closed.

Orange_Burst said: I called the hotel and talked to a manager. With tax it's $257. I saw it on booking for $202, so she matched that price. Nice job, Colleen!
