Howdy,

I'm a Canadian heading down to the BVIs this Friday (wheels up in 60 hours!). When I travel back and forth to the U.S., I have a NEXUS Card. This is similar (but not the same) as a Global Entry card that the U.S. government issues to people who travel frequently to and from the U.S.

NEXUS is an arrangement between the Canadian Government and the U.S.

Its a handy piece of ID to have but my question is: can it be used when entering STT from Tortola? One of the benefits of a NEXUS card (at least between Canadian and U.S. entry points), is it allows you to jump to a separate and typically shorter line to go through customs -- nice when scrambling to get to the airport.

Any Canadians have experience using a NEXUS Card when entering STT from the BVIs?

There are only two lines at the Ferry customs and no Nexus or global entry machines. Both lines move about the same pace. Your order getting off the boat is the key.

Hi,

Ours did help at STT going home. Lines weren't too long and we were there early, but it was a separate line and shorter.
