Let me see if I can even remember what I've been doing! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" /> Senior moments!!! Saturday pool time for a few hours in the morning and then walked down Front St., spent some time roaming around the Boardwalk and had a late lunch at Taloula Mangos. Fantastic Creole Snapper, creole rice and plantains. Really enjoyed that.

Sunday I went out for breakfast at Chesterfields...had some delicious French Toast. We had to move all the cars off the street for the parade so after breakfast I just parked up the parking lot a block or so away from the Villas. Enjoyed the Children's Parade...small but oh so cute. Bought a rack of ribs ($5.00) from a place around the corner from the Villas...quite good. I had made some potato salad and macaroni salad that morning and the ribs went good with that.

Monday breakfast around the pool and then later in the morning I drove over to the Plantation furniture place in Orange Grove. They have some beautiful stuff there! I was checking out a sleeper sofa for a friend. Went to Prime after that and was disappointed in the selection of wines there...mainly because I could not get what I wanted. Stopped at LeGrand Marche to pick up a few things and then came home.

Tuesday was just a nice, lazy day sitting around the pool. Had a nice dinner of leftovers!

This morning (Wednesday) went to Chesterfields again for the French Toast and then went off to the Fresh Market. Big mistake!! Jouvert time and traffic was unbelievable! I have never seen so many people still lining the streets at 9:30! And I am wondering how the streets are ever going to get cleaned up...they are strewn with confetti, papers, plastic cups, cans, bottles, etc. What a mess! I'm thinking of taking a walk down Front St. this afternoon. Tomorrow is the Grand Parade and I'm looking forward to just going outside the Villa's gate and watching it. Very, very convenient!@
