Two weeks on the road

Sipping a petulant, precocious rose as I write – Chateau Saint Martin des Champs 2015, I deemed it appropriate for the task

Toronto non stop Sat – AC Rouge full and full
Wilfred’s smiling face met us. New[ for us ] rental apt this yr, last building south of Alamanda, one bed, nice.
Jeannie looked after us, even with an extremely busy day for her business. Thanks to both Wilfred and Jeannie

Quick bite at Yellow Sub chatted with newb's who came from Ohio to Tor, same flight as us- long day for them.

After deux croissant and reserving a Macaron chicken and potatoes for pick up later we were off to the beach. Camped out at Brothers, great lunch, local fare pork collar?, rice and peas and salad excellent. Will be back Tues for chicken rot’is

Behind Le String is a little place for local sorbet, give it a try – Lil’s sorbet, but I think her name is Amanda,

First impression is that Orient is slow, noticed the “new” washroom / shower building for the Orient development is a bit of bust, showers work, doors locked.

Checked out La Playa. Met Bruno at Petit Casino in the am, there is a lit walkway from Yellow Sub to La Playa, looked at the dinner menu, will do dinner for sure [6 evenings, closed Sunday evening]

Good to be back

Welcome fellow Burlington folks. We are on the island until the 23rd staying at Bruno's bungalows. Maybe we will cross paths at Happy Hour at the Yellow Sub. We are there most nights. Have a great vacation.
