Went out one night armed with hubby’s tripod, and the new remote I’d bought so I could test it out.

Thanks for the pictures! Was Fig very busy? It seems like they are not busy there, and the rent seems like it would be pretty expensive. The Refuge looked empty, although perhaps it wasn't late enough?

Carol, we went to Fig last night and it was VERY quiet. We had made reservations, and when we walked in I said I had reservations for four, and they didn't even ask me what the name was and showed us right to the table. Guess we were the only ones to make reservations. The food was "okay", but nothing to get excited about.

OK. I do worry about them in that spot. Sorry to hear the food wasn't up to their previous standard.

No, Fig wasn't very busy, in fact, most nights it seemed that way. I meant to ask about Bananas, I think they might have music there but when we were there we didn't see any sign of that either.

The Refuge was also quiet. On all the times, day and night, that we went by the place there was hardly anyone there. I'm not sure it's turning out to be the success they had hoped for. At night The Refuge is being advertised as the place to go, doesn't seem to be happening. The old part, SBBG, sort of closes down after 6 p.m. because The Refuge is where you are supposed to go and eat. We used to go on a Sunday night because they had music and it was always busy. I am not sure what they had going on there this year we stayed away.

You could probably sell the Casino Royale photo to them, it looks so professional. Nice job.

a few trips ago i was talking with one of the security guys about that spot where fig is now----if the numbers he quoted me as to rent --electric and water are even close to being accurate--i cant see how it is possible to make a buck in that location.
