Carole formally of L'Estimenet in GC is now at BZH Oyster Pond area. They serve delicious crepes, Savory & Sweet, pizza, and a dinner menu. Dinner, she said, is served only in high season through end of March.
The place is intimate , semi-outdoor, covered from elements. There's a large bar area, and a garden seating area. Very pretty.
If you drive to Oyster Pond past the marina at your right, around curve in road just past a small grocery (was owned by Carole) at left is BZH. If you continue past BZH, I think this is Coralita Road, you pass the beautiful view of Le Galion and other little outcrops. When tide low you can walk out to these pieces of land. Eventually you come out at the main road people usually take to get to Orient, Hope Estate, and on to Grand Case.
Along Coralita road you'll see a yellow school bus parked water side. This is "Iguana Man." For tips he'll let you feed the Iguanas. There were about 10 when we stopped. One was as big as a small dog.
On Friday, 24th BZH is having "Soiree Flamenco," serving Paella & Sangria with a Flamenco Show.
Carole looks the happiest and less stressed we've seen her. She was also happy that we'd located her and I said we'd tell everyone to stop by. She sold the store about 6 months ago.

deirdre1 said: BZH is one of our favorites. Nothing like a bottle of St Tropez rose' and a well done special meal. My wife had a scallop special here that was the best meal on the island. Beside Carole there is Flo as bartender. He was the mixologist at Dinghy Dock for quite a while. I thought the bartender looked familiar! Didn't realize he was from Dingy Dock. Thanks for the info.
