Just returned from the Riu:<br>We stayed there april14-28/02<br>Just a quick comment on OUR vacation there.<br>The resort was great..the best buy for the money we've found in our favorite island of JA.<br>At this price range you will not find a better deal ..our opinion.<br>It's location on Bloody Bay is perfect..one of the nicest beaches on the island...the Grand Lido and Couples -Negril also share this same bay..the bay is next to seven mile beach (negrils main area)<br>The rooms are not overly large but, are well done and offer all the extras..stocked mini-bar, TV,AC...and are Very Clean. the shower has the best water presure and hottest water we've ever had a hotel. No shortage of hot water here.<br>The buffet was very well done and offered us lots of choices..we never got bored , even after two weeks.<br>The pizza place off the main lobby was also very good..good selection....for a JA..pizza place.<br>The best thing about the place was the staff ..by far...very out going and HAPPY.<br>This resort allows tipping to the staff and they make Very good money here.This keeps the staff very happy and we Never felt we Had To Tip...but they were worth it to us.<br>The entertainment was a little weak..for sure...but a short cab ride to Negril and all the nightlife you could want was there to be had.<br>The photos we seen on the place were Bang on ...it is a bit out of place on the Bay..big and flashy..but it was all we wanted and more.<br>The swimming here on this bay is great....we loved it.<br>We will be returning ASAP and would highly recommnend this resort to all.<br>Two weeks here , for us , was the same price as some of the other Big Name hotels and a Great bargain.<br>Hope you enjoy[Linked Image]
