My family and another will be doing a land based trip to Virgin Gorda the week before Christmas (Our 4th visit, the other family’s first). We’d like to spend one day showing them Anegada, and have checked into charters. We may still go that route, but they are a bit pricey, so now we are thinking about the Ferry. Our issue is that a few years back, during another high season visit, we tried to do that and it was a disaster. The morning we tried to visit Anegada, the ferry was so crowded, with standing room only, that it seemed unsafe, and we ended up punting on the idea. I fully realize that in the islands there are no guarantees (hell, there are no guarantees anywhere these days), but does anyone know whether our experience was an aberration or if a jammed packed VG to Anegada ferry is the “norm” during high season? Thanks.

We took the ferry from Road Town to Anegada Wednesday, May 3rd which makes a stop at VGYH and it was not crowded. We rented a car and enjoyed a wonderful day on the island! Good luck I hope it works out for you. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" /> map <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />
