Just curious if anyone has moved their boat around on Anguilla to various anchorages without paying these absurd daily cruising fees which are also effectively doubled if you overnight somewhere other than Road Bay. Just interested and curious...I know I'd never do this and no one else would either...but nonetheless curious...

Road Bay is really this best place to anchor anyway. Yes, leaving Road Bay will be expensive, not sure why. The anchorage has great holding.

I thought the question was: Has anyone cruised the outer islands of Anguilla and *not* paid the fees? As in - will you get caught?

Cue the flood of replies saying "Why would you do that?" but it's something I've wondered as well despite not ever planning on trying it.
