It seems like a lot of work. Does it payoff in convenience?

There's a full commentary on this topic under the St. Maarten travel forum. Lots of thoughts, pros and cons, from those who have it.

In my opinion, the answer to your question, "Is it worth it?" is totally up to you. How much international travel do you do? How far do you have to travel to do the interview? And for us, generally traveling through JFK, my answer is a resounding YES! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

In addition to air travel, Global Entry works for international cruises. While hundreds of fellow cruisers snaked through the lines to clear Customs, we breezed through without anyone in our line.
