Has anyone visited here? Transient overnight slips available (we're on a 39 ft cat)? Restaurant reviews? We always stay a day or two between Leverick and Bitter End.... Love North Sound!! Actually, LOVE IT ALL in the BVI! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Groovin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Groovin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Groovin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Groovin.gif" alt="" />

Agree with Evan....I would just get a ball or anchor at Biras and dinghy over if you want to check it out. It's a nice bar for a drink but not cheap. No clue how the restaurant is - if I was going to opt for a fancier dinner, I would go to the upstairs restaurant at Leverick if you're there during their season (they will be closing this week for a while).

You could do two nights and spend one in a slip at Leverick and one over by Saba/Bitter End/Biras and dinghy around to Saba, Fat Virgin, etc.

Somewhere out there
Have not been since they reopened after the remodel. We would tie up to the dock for the day have lunch and drinks. At that time the beer was $5 vs $5.50 at Leverick. Lilly actually had 2 birthday parties there and they were most accommodating.

they do not own the dock, that is owned by oil nut bay and they over night fee was $4/foot.

Beautiful property - a bit not what the BVI are all about but hey always nice to change it up after you have been everywhere else in NS 10 times - lol. We went to for dinner one night - large group and literally the only table, which was weird. We were loud (not rude or disrespectful, there is a difference) and I am not sure they are used to that?? The food was very good and beautiful setting - truly BUT left saying we do not need to come back here again. Think for a drink during sunset it would be PERFECT change of pace but only if your tired of Leverick, Prickly, Saba, BEYC, etc.

Sad they won't be open. NEVER tire of the rest so dinghy over to check it out sounds like a reasonable things to do. Chicken roti's at the Fat Virgin are always a great lunch!

We ate dinner there on Wednesday night and had an excellent experience. The views are absolutely fantastic and the food was very good. Service was far better than any other place we have ever been to in the BVI. The ambiance is more consistent with a restaurant in a place like St. Barth which is one of our favorite islands so maybe that is one of the reasons we enjoyed it so much. Entree prices are consistent with other higher end restaurants in the BVI so I would not characterize it as over priced. Our bills from Brandywine, Corsairs, and Peter Island on this trip were within plus or minus 10% of YCCS. We have not made it to Norman island on this trip but I expect Pirate's to be comparable if not higher in price.

Had a delicious meal at Coco Maya last month - if you like sushi, theirs is excellent!
