Wondering if anyone on the island can give the 411 on the current seaweed situation. Looks like Club O has a bit and they usually keep the relatively little they get under control. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Dawn Beach and Orient are usually the hardest hit. Perhaps not as bad at the Club Orient end but Orient does get hammered. What is it like today may mean nothing tomorrow. You can't "control" it you just rake it up and bury it.

I realize that it can't be controlled. I am just looking to see if the seaweed in the water is as thick as it was 2 weeks ago. We leave in a week and I am curious as the current conditions.

We arrived on Monday and went to Orient on Tuesday. There was some seaweed in the Club Orient area but not bad at all. Coming in on the plane we could see many lines of seaweed out in the ocean.
