The weather has been staying pretty decent, a lot of clouds but plenty of sunshine and we’re still keeping an eye on the three tropical disturbances out to the east. Looks like the weekend may be a wash out but you know how long range (or any) forecasts go here. http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo.php?basin=atlc&fdays=5We’ve been back to Aloha several times including for the live entertainment on Sunday afternoon. We had fun with a lot of mostly local people. Natalie took the mic and was singing behind the bar while working. I think we were the only ones not smoking but it didn’t really bother us with the breeze keeping the air clear. As far as shopping for provisions goes we made the mistake of going to Super U on a Saturday morning and it was frantic. They did seem to have good quality products. We have found that Leader Price in Cul de Sac has really good prices for things like water, paper towels, TP. The meat and cheese are probably not as good as Super U but really not bad. The Petite Casino store in Orient Village is our go to place for small purchases and baguettes. We have ordered the rotisserie chicken from yellow sub to bring home several times. These are very good along with the roasted potatoes. Based on other TTOL reports we tried a few new things, (thanks johndana274): Al Dente in Cul de Sac for fantastic chicken parm. Sharing one order with a bottle of pinot gris was perfect. I think that this is on the location of the old Surf Club South. Mullet Bay was great for hanging on the beach and just floating in the clear water with a delicious beverage. It’s always good to watch a storm pass you in the distance as well. https://goo.gl/photos/fMNgn9B3FwQLEBHo6Willie is still working her magic at the Perch but her last day before vacation is Friday. After that Marine and Kenny will be filling in until it closes on September 8. Cheers!

Super U can be really PACKED on the weekend, for sure, but they do have the best stuff. Nice pictures at Mullet!

When ordering the chicken and potatoes from Yellow Sub, is there a latest time in order to do so? We'll be arriving at 1PM, hopefully arriving for a quick lunch at Yellow Sub by 2, and would like to take one back to enjoy at Club F the 1st night. BTW, Al Dente is really as good as everyone says. We're enjoying your updates - thanks.
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

Charlie--I'm not sure if this is the only issue or not, but to post here, photos must have a "jpg" file extension.
