Post-storm has off-island people worrying about loved ones and friends - with no way to connect and have those comforting conversations - and to hear that all is ok.

Would be good to have some sort of communication Hub - the way Red Cross did decades ago - where one could "touch base" leave a bulletin board message, thereby advising worrying family that all is ok.

I guess Facebook and Google do have something similar - but, perhaps should put the word out as to how it works
Can anyone share that knowledge?

The BVI Community Board on Facebook is swamped with people hoping for news - and leaving endless personal search posts - which is why some sort of bulletin board would remove the panicky traffic that clogs the system
