been vacationing on the Island for many years.In the beginning when driving past the old airport their was a huge sign posted. It proclaimed that the U.S.A. was funding the expansion or modernization of the airport for strategic reasons; S.E.T.O.or such. Since the President owns a 28mil dollar home on the Island It would be considerate of him to
allocate funds to aid in the rebuilding of the airport.
just a thought.
my prayers go out to our friends on the Island.

Think you must have been visiting SXM a VERY long time ago since the US funding of original airstrip on SXM was during WWII.
