Just returned last night from 13 days in Paradise. While each day had lots of sun, there were some quick passing showers on Orient. Much windier than other Aprils. Some days couldn't put up umbrella. Water was beautiful and warm as always. Had some fabulous beach meals at Sun Up(sat up on the roof and had great views of the whole bay) Joe was our server. What a hoot. We had lobster fricassee, tuna tataki, beef and chicken brochettes. Excellent food. Also ate at Aloha and had Coco as our server. Escargot, Tuna steak, calamari steaks, and a beef brochette. Once again, great food and service. Also ate at Kakao with Jeremy as our server. Always have the spring rolls with mint and lettuce, salade nicoise, Creole chicken and the Creole platte. We ate there three times. Papagayo also provided some great lunches: burgers, salads, wings, and gazpacho. Nancy and Barik were excellent servers. Favorite dinner was at La Villa, our first time there. We had steak au poivre to die for, Caribbean fish soup, butternut squash soup, eggplant Napolean, red snapper, and chilean sea bass. Other great meals were Sol E Luna and Le Cottage. Went to L'Escapade. Had a great server, Michael. Fish soup, butternut squash soups were great. We didn't care for the lobster ravioli apps. Pork tenderloin and a scallop/shrimp dish were great. Wonderful view of Anguilla.
Also ate dinner at Coco Beach, Bikini Beach and Rancho de Sol. Not a fan of those even though Coco and Bikini are right on the beach. Ate at Little Italie and Tai Chi in Orient Village. Food was good, not great, but we could walk there from our villa. Next year we will try Cote Plages in the Village and Palm Beach near Boo Boo Jams. Heard great things about both. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting some previous acquaintances from before. Hey Jaybird and Carla, FebKids and Boston Bob. Also met some great folks from Chicago, Toronto, Nova Scotia, Colorado, Upstate NY, and of course, Baahston. 11 months 2 weeks and counting until next time. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />
