We just received this email from Diamond Resorts:
Dear Valued Member,
The senseless act of violence that occurred Sunday night in Las Vegas hit home for us at Diamond Resorts. Many of our team members and their families call Las Vegas home, with our corporate headquarters and several resorts located in the city. We also work very closely with several country music artists and their teams, and consider them part of our Diamond Resorts family. We are all deeply saddened by this tragedy and offer condolences to the victims’ families and loved ones, and express gratitude for the heroic actions of the citizens and first responders on the scene.
Many of you have reached out asking for ways to help. As we work to learn more, our leadership teams have reached out to our members, owners, guests and team members who were affected, and we are providing any assistance needed. We also are working with local officials to identify the community’s needs.
To ensure that we provide assistance to those affected by the unimaginable acts of violence in Las Vegas, while also continuing to support our team members and the communities devastated last month by hurricanes Irma and Maria, we want to offer those interested an opportunity to donate to the Diamond Resorts International Foundation, a recognized 501 (c) 3 organization. Funds raised will go towards providing financial support to victims and their families in Las Vegas, and helping team members in Florida and St. Maarten rebuild in the wake of the hurricanes. Diamond Resorts has pledged to match all donations made to the Foundation in 2017 up to $1 million.
