I'm having trouble connecting from the Flamingo - very slow & the TTOL page doesn't load so now that I'm on I have a couple of days worth of reports to post - this one is for the end of day 3 & the whole of day 4:

To finish up Day 3 – we went to the Pizza Gallery for a Shrimp Diavolo pizza, a large Caesar & cheesy bread for $37. Clearly this is a popular place – as soon as 1 table left, there were others waiting to sit. I like their pizza & I like sitting at the barrel tables & letting the breezes catch you. They are also using the tables on the dock that used to be used by Lady C. We didn’t go to a casino cuz I had to get back to watch Dancing with the Stars. I am totally addicted – I just love that Max! Wicked storm around midnight and the stars were out by 4 AM.

Day 4 was more of the same – I actually made it down to Le Sucriere for pastries in the morning without any problem. Don as feeling virtuous cuz he did water aerobics at the Flamingo. We were going to head over to Orient but when we were tooling around last night the “check engine light” came on & I wanted to check it out 1st. So after I got the pastries I headed up to Unity where they told me not to worry it was just a sensor. Not sure I buy that but they’ve never steered me wrong before so I decided to trust them. I then stopped at Endless Summer & ended up with 2 new bathing suits, a cover-up for 1 of them and a pair of sandals. Think I made their morning. And I accomplished all of this before 10 AM!

Cuz of the car we spent the day again at the Flamingo beach. Gorgeous day with only a splatter of rain drops. Seems like we dodged the bullet, the dark clouds were whipping by and when they got to Saba it looked like they were dumping buckets of rain.

Fine dining tonight at Rare. I love the whole experience – service was attentive, only about 7 tables so the noise level was quite muted, and our dinners (both steak) were excellent. We then played blackjack at the Atlantis – again, not very busy, and the tables were open. Don broke even & I won so part of our dinner was paid for. A very pleasurable evening for both of us…
