Recieved this this morning from Diamond in regards to Flamingo.

Resort Construction Updates

Dear ,

In an effort to keep you informed of the construction process at Flamingo Beach Resort, we will be adding regular updates to the resort page on DiamondResorts.com. We will also be posting major progress on our Diamond Resorts social media pages, including Facebook and Twitter. Please be sure to follow us @DiamondResorts to watch for these updates.

We are currently in the initial demolition phase of our construction process. As the entire interior of the resort needs to be rebuilt, crews have been tasked with removing all debris and content from each unit. They also installed wire fencing around the property to secure it as a construction site. At this time, only authorized personnel are allowed on-site.

We hope to complete construction as quickly as possible and can’t wait to welcome you back home.

Sincerely,
Diamond Resorts™

Got that update also, but sure doesn't tell you much. Just came back from there last week and can tell you that the 7 & 6 building are basically
cleaned out except they are now hammering out the floor tile.

Looking forward to seeing the progress when we are there for 3 weeks in May. We will be staying in a villa next to la Vista and will be seeing it daily coming and going.

Well, I didn't get that update. Appreciate you posting it so I know what they are saying. I'm anxious to hear about what you find in May. I think you're in building 3 while we are in 4. I just got a picture from a friend showing they're at the open air stage. The units in building 4 were see through, totally gutted with only a couple of support columns in the unit. Just wish they would tell us what they were doing.

Received a very similar email from Diamond regarding Royal Palm. Almost identical wording as email for Flamingo.

That's good. At least they are now getting to it. Read that crews were on both resort roofs yesterday. That's a good sign.
