..just had four wonderful days on "Jeannius" with Mike Beswick and Diane ( Toast) and Greg.. First the boat looks amazing..better than she did before she went around the world. Conch has been doing a splendid job with here ( Mike is very happy). " Jeannius" sailed beautifully. First night was at The Bight with dinner at the " Willy T"..everyone one agreed it was good. We sailed to CGB first thing Friday morning and were treated to an empty, gorgeous beach. I went ashore to hear Brian Neale at " Myett's"...then we went to The Elm for great bar b q and " The Elmtones" ( pretty crowded and everyone loved it)...then on to a rocking " Quito's " ...the band sounded fantastic with David on drums driving them hard. It took me back to the old days of Q's..everyone dancing..Q smiling..great bar staff..Finally crawled into the bunk after an amazing CGB triple play. Off to White Bay JVD as we watched hundreds of chairs being set up (YUK)..Mike and I sailed while D and G slept. Got a mooring ball just down from Ivan's and had a wonderful day on the beach. Mic at " The Soggy Dollar" was his usual amazing self..food was good and then wandered down to " Seddy's One Love"...and there was Reuben Chinnery playing..talk about perfect!. Diana cooked a great dinner aboard and this morning we motored round to Gt Harbour so I could jump on the ferry. The other three sailed off to Monkey Point on a truly spectacular day..thanks Mike, Diane and Greg for a terrific four days!
