Day16

We travelled to Saba on the Edge ferry out of Simpson Bay. We chose an outside seat on the ferry and had an uneventful ride over to the island. Once there, we caught a taxi which, along with a group of others,
dropped us off before the long climb up to Mt Scenery. We got to know our group along the way and had a fun time climbing up to the highest
point (pictures hopefully to follow! ). We reached the summit and there were clouds all around us, so we took a few pictures, enjoyed the cool
breeze, and made our way back down the slope. We stopped at the Ecolodge on the way down for water and thought about how much fun it
would be to spend the night. Once back to our spot where the taxi would take us back, we walked around the town (forgot the name, sorry), and
enjoyed being back on flat ground. I have to say, the hike was not for the weak of heart, I did okay on the way up as I am a runner, but Mike
had to stop frequently. However, on the way back down, my knees were
really starting to feel it!
The ride back to Simpson Bay was CRAZY to say the least. They said it was exceptionally bad that day. Thank God neither one of us get
seasick, we actually thought it was a fun ride, but others did get sick.

Thanks to day 16, day 17 was a fully relaxed day at Club O on the beach
with very little movement between our chairs and the ocean! We really enjoyed the day! Thursday night, we went to Cugini in Marigot (thanks
Dave and Adrianna for the reservation! ). We had a fantastic Italian meal
and enjoyed the music and vendors

Day 18

We spent the day traveling and started by hiking on the little islands off of
Coralita. We went to the Ma Dou Dou factory after that and bought
several bottles of rum to take home! After that, we went to Baie Rouge
for lunch (Good food at Chez Raymond, verrrrry slow service). Mike got in the water, but I wasn't as brave. We went on to Cupecoy and after we got there and spent sone time, I couldn't believe we had missed this place before! I think it will be cone our new favorite place

Today, we decided to stay close to home and are spending the day at Grand Case. I am writing this at Calmos as we speak and we had a great lunch of tapas including goat cheese mousse, and chicken and shrimp satay. Tomorrow is Tiko Tiko and then Laylas to meet friends
