We spent day 3 touring around the island a bit. We went to Baie Longue for the morning and walked the beach and swam. We had never been before and it was on our "must see" list. We spent some time day dreaming of winning the lottery and buying the house on the point
After Baie Longue we stopped at the Driftwood Boat Bar and drank a Mango Colada. Sunset was packed with cruise ship people and we completely avoided it! We wanted to check out Tahoma and were starving by this point, so we stopped there and hung out on the beach for a while. We purchased the appetizer mix which consisted of calamari rings, two mozzarella sticks, two coconut shrimp, and two jalapeņo poppers for $16. Mike ordered a margarita and I got a mojito.....total bill was $36 something. Service was good and staff was friendly, food tasted great but didn't really fill us up.....
We went on back to Maho for a little shopping and picked up groceries. Once home, we watched a fabulous sunset from our balcony as we had a drink and some snacks, then went upstairs for our Wednesday dinner with Emile and Suzy and all their guests. Our dinner consisted of fresh lobster, ribs, several side dishes, and pineapple upside-down cake for dessert. We had a great time meeting our neighbors and visiting with Emile and Suzy

Today started out cloudy and rainy, so we relaxed in our room, then decided to venture over to Orient. It was overcast and windy there but sunny in Grand Case, so we came back to the Dove's Nest and spent the afternoon in the sun on our own beach. Some big boat was in the harbor (said "Zoom Zoom Zoom" on the side), and a helicopter kept flying around it for at least an hour. At first we thought it was paparazzi but then decided they must have been making a video.

Tonight we are going to Calmo's for dinner and music, and tomorrow an afternoon outing with Dave and Adrianna. Life is good
