We dove on her recently.

We also dove on her a year ago.

It was a sad experience. The Cracken was slain by Irma.

Some of what remains of the cracken make the wreck dangerous.

Parts of the wreck were lying on the sea floor.

Had to laugh at this warren460 as we dove it in July and had watched pre-Irma videos and were really excited, not realizing the devastation Irma had caused to the Kracken. Boy were we surprised and confused when we got down there. It is more dangerous with the rebar sticking out in places but we still enjoyed the dive and the swim throughs.

Last year, it was wonderful.

Far less enjoyable this time.

Maybe in the not too distant future,it will be made safer and attract lots of marine life. Until then, I will pass and dive elsewhere.
