PART TWO: Grenada June 12, 2012 After waiting at the airport for the delayed LIAT flight to Grenada, we boarded the plane and made the short flight to our favorite island in the sun… Grenada! I must say, we have fallen in love with the island of Grenada. We were married there in 2006 on the lovely La Sagesse Beach, and have returned almost yearly for vacation (usually our anniversary – June 24!).
Our lodging for the 7 nights was the wonderful Mt. Cinnamon. Our first time at Mt. Cinnamon was last year and what an absolutely fantastic resort. They have it all… from dining, to beach cabana, to beach, to lovely villas. The location is on the lovely 2 mile long Grand Anse Beach. Our villa was at the tippy top of the hill, and the view was to die for! I could live here…
The villa has a complete kitchen, with everything you might need. We did partake in many dinners at the villa utilizing the fully stocked kitchen. Sitting on the patio eating dinner under candlelight with an amazing view is a fantastic memory.
Grenada is like our second home, so this trip we just enjoyed our time kicking around. We went into town utilizing the dollar bus a few times. Enjoyed a great lunch at BB’s Crabback. Had another fabulous lunch at the Nutmeg. We shopped at the local grocery stores, and outdoor market. Of course, we stopped at the spice market for gifts and spices for our own needs. We wandered the lonely beach searching for “blue” seaglass… we have lots of green – but blue is a special color, and hard to find. It was a relaxing week, and it was hard to believe it had come to an end. A week can certainly go by fast! Leaving Grenada is always difficult to do, as we love it there… but, our fun was just moving on to a different and new adventure! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

Ahhh, Grenada! It's been a few years now since my last trip there, but reading about it always makes me homesick.

I know! I miss it already... It is always sad to leave (but I had more fun to look forward to - Bequia and sailing, so got over it quickly).
