We're sitting in a slip at Leverick, 30 seconds til happy hour.
Quick recap of the trip so far.
Arrived at Manueal Reef marina around 5pm Wednesday. Brent (Capt's Compass) had a six pack of green labels cold and ready. Took a few minutes to unpack and then off to Peg Legs for some "Best on da Island" drinks from Devon.
Interesting day yesterday, left the marina and set course for Cooper. I spotted something floating in the water on our way over. Altered course to investigate and found a lost scuba diver. Local guy, had a stringer full of triggers and lobster. His boat had lost track of his bubbles and they were a good mile away when we found him. All ended well but it could have been a real bad day for him, nothing more frieghting then floating at sea alone - been there done that.
We rafted up and did the diver exchange. All of them were very thankful for the assistance. Good deed done, headed into Cooper and grabbed a ball.
Fantastic reach up to Leverick today, saw 8knts of boat speed most of the way.
Cheers!
