Tuesday, October 30th continues.... This is the sweet girl we met on the beach. No collar but is well behaved and used to people. I truly hope she has a home and just free roams during the day. Otherwise, she is probably adopted by a family each week around BSV. She had a hysterical moment with a crab. Will post to YouTube and link later. This is how the sand changes hourly. This sand ledge was almost my height, and other times smooth and flat. After the delicious paninis we spent the rest of the day at our pool and then cleaned up to meet island friends at their home for drinks and appetizers, as well as to do some business. It was a beautiful day, and the most gorgeous sunset from their balcony. For the first time in my life I SAW THE GREEN FLASH! (and no, it was not the bottle/s of wine consumed). Lol Wednesday, Halloween, October 31st Dawned glorious! Great news, as we were sailing all day on Pieter and Mirian’s new boat No1SXM, or Virgin Fire. We had been with them in June, and they are now into full swing with obtaining bookings and doing outings. Wonderful time. Our “home” as viewed from the water Their First Mate Leaving in the dinghy A day on the water really takes it out of you, so dinner was DELIVERY from Pizza & Co in Simpson Bay. Quattro Stagioni. YES! Anything with artichokes gets my vote. Next installment….Parotte Ville Bird Sanctuary and Emilio’s! Thanks for following along.

I have seen a sand ledge a few times at Beachside, but never that high! It also varies up and down the units, usually it seems there is less down toward the pool. I see dogs hanging around Beachside quite often, but I don't encourage them to hang around, as I know many people are afraid of them, although I personally love them. Beautiful paintings!! Which one did you choose?

Enjoying your trip. Your dog friend visited us next door at elZafiro a couple times liked the shade under my chair. Wasn't too thrilled with our snack crackers. Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet. "Sand Gravity" hit us REAL Hard.
Next SXM visit -November 2023. Also January 2024.

Another beautiful report. Can't wait to be back on No1SXM; glad to hear they are now fully operational. I have yet to see a green flash on the island but saw one on a cruise. Sweet doggie. Can't wait for the Parotte Ville report! I'm working on packing today.
