A group of us ladies are doing a crewed charter next week, January 21 to 28. Two of us are regulars but the rest are BVI newbies. Does anyone know where we could find some live music? Cane, Jost, Leverick? I know Quito played on Tuesday and every other Friday but I don't know if that is current or if the 25th would be his Friday to play or not. Does the band play without him on the other Fridays? Is there an updated site somewhere? It's my first time back since the hurricane, and we all want to dance! Lots of questions, so thank you in advance to anyone who can help.
It's not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Cane has a decent number of music options now. Myett's, The Elm, and Quito's all have live music. It's best to check their facebook pages for update because it's not always the same night each week.
I do know that The Elmtone's play The Elm on Tuesday and Sunday. Also, Quito is currently off island so it's only been the Edge lately. Not sure when he's due back but Quito's has the most live music currently. Something most nights.

Leverick , a few week days including thrs for capt beans, sing along, pirate party, toes in the sand. Fridays are the out dooor bbq, band, dancing and mocko jumbies'
There should also be music at Great Harbor , Jost Van Dyke, at Corsairs and of Course Foxys .
And, if the Willy T is still ripping and tearing, at Great Harbor, on Peter Island, the party light will be lit .
Cane Garden, we would just follow the sounds of the bands playing, and the Elm is going to be on our itinerary this coming may. Also quitos and myetts, and possibly other venues as well.
not sure about the up the hill view happy hour bar at marina cay, but up in Virgin Gorda Sound, BEYC, and Saba Rock are not in operation.
We are going to bring our C.D's , and create our own on board party time as well as find those ashore .
Also, your charter skipper will be aware of music venues, and current on what is going on and where, on what days, post Irma.
Have a grand, toe tapping, hand clapping, trotter dancing, singing along good time.

Is Reuben Chinnery playing any place now? Used to be able to catch him at various locations/times on Jost, but also up the hill from CGB at Heritage Inn.

I was not aware sleepychef was Peter. Very much makes sense. Love Wonky Dog. Best selection of scotch on the island!

Anegada is always fantastic. Spent a day there exploring on the mopeds. Cow wreck Bar, Loblolly, and others!!! All great island feel. Finally, Potters by the Sea for great Lobster and a party!!!! Certainly a don't-miss!

Like many others we were told and expecting Jeff Ross to be playing at Puss/Ett's but that's a good lineup. Dont forget "The Elmtones" are playing every Sunday at The Elm and starting earlier now around 6.30. Get there early to insure a table as the word is out..Also TONY IS BACK! Great bar b q etc. Still miss those Kapeye happy hours at the old " Myett's" and the regular members of the "IRS".."The International Rhythm Section.".
