To bad they aren't playing a team that deserved to go. As much as I detest the Patriots I still won't root for the Rams.

As usual in the Super Bowl these days, I will be rooting AGAINST a team, the Patriots. It's been quite a while since I've had a team to root FOR. I wish the refs hadn't stolen the game from New Orleans...

Pretty boring game. Lots of defense and very little offense. Hope halftime is better than the game.

Rams are lucky I think that it's only 3-0. I generally don't care about the halftime show. I figure this won't be any different.

What a BORING game! Even the commentators were bored. Aside from a few commercials, the intro by Peyton Manning and the 100 years of NFL thing at halftime, it was a total snoozefest.. New Orleans would have been much more competitive. Both teams looked terrible.

I laugh when i hear about the ''boring'' game. It was a football classic. Both offense and defense were played.....but....defense on both teams were so unbelievable GREAT. Yes...it was a low scoring game....but it was football at it's BEST!! No one ever would've dreamed that a super bowl would garner so few points....but it was a totally DEFENSIVE game on BOTH sides. The biggest surprise was that the team that had scored more touchdowns and points all year....were held to only ONE field goal. Of course, I am totally thrilled today, since being a Patriot fan for my entire life. I love the comments about people won't root for he Patriots....but the haters can hate all they want. I spent most of my life being disappointed in Boston sports...Every year for both the Pats, and the Red Sox...the mantra was always....''wait till next year''. Then, comes the turn of the century, and both the Pats and the Red Sox, became power houses, and FINALLY started to win. The Kraft, Bellechik, Brady combination worked....and they finally began to win championships. It is always fun to hate winners....but you surely can't take anything away from them....Six Championship banners, and nine trips to the superbowl in 18 years is totally a phenomenal feat..no matter what team it represents. If you want to hate the winners...so be it........ my two cents.

I understand that it was a well played game by both defenses. But, the game was BORING. The entire Super Bowl and even the commercials were truly lackluckter.
No one is hating. Just boring. The most action was that commercial with all the NFL players. That was the only entertainment the whole night! LOL

Totally agree EdB, except those high flying scoring games are much more exciting to watch, like we saw in the playoff divisional rounds. You have to appreciate just how good these defenses played, and what a chess match that was though! Go Pats!

Nah, sorry, regardless of my hatred for the Patriots, ALL the reviews of that Super Bowl are that it was BORING and one of the worst Super Bowls in recent memory. The defenses were good, but the offenses were BAD, including Brady, for most of the game..

"The most action was that commercial with all the NFL players. That was the only entertainment the whole night! LOL" That ad was the bomb. Totally enjoyed it. I rewound it to watch it over and then fast forwarded through the boring game to catch up.

There is a story online that actually goes through the whole commercial, stating which players are which, etc, and there was a lot of interesting stuff in that commercial that I didn't see at all when I saw it the first time or two. If you haven't seen that story, look for it.

No, I found that one today. This one said stuff like Joe Montana bypasses Michael Irvin and passes instead to Jerry Rice, but Deion Sanders intercepts the ball... Can't figure out why I can't find the other one.

That's it!! It sure helps you understand a lot better what all is going on and who all the players are.
