One would think they should have started construction on the new hotel by now, but obviously not. I wonder if Planet Hollywood is not going to happen?

Not that quite easy. Insurance settlement internationally has to be completed and thereafter funding has to be found for the new Hotel.

Why would they need to FIND funding, when they already announced it was going to happen? Doesn't make sense, unless someone is having second thoughts.

Well they bought the place just a few months before Irma and lost it . Hence they have to figure out how they will proceed .

was there in late Nov early Dec, and also took pics (of nothing..LOL)...So Sad, great beach and nice casino....short walk to Divi and Front Street
