I'm back. Wow, it's been such a wonderful trip so far. I would say the best, but all of them are the best.

Hey Trish - I'm leaving Tortola for STT on November 20th, flying out of STT (where else?) on the afternoon of the 21st. Sorry to miss ya'll. But one of these days huh?

Sarah Jane - Thanks, I'm so glad you like my trip reports.

First, I should say that I had the pleasure of seeing Connie (periwinkle) and Father Lance, not once but twice when they came to look for me on Tortola. They are two of the nicest people I have met on TTOL. Ya'll are the best.

Seas were unusually high today. I heard that the swell came up to the door at Rhymer's this a.m. I just hung around, chatting, grabbed some dinner and early night. Good night Irene.

Full Moon night. Grabbed a taxi to holla at some of my friends, do some drinking, dancing, dancing and then take my old self home. Ran into a friend of mine, who had me dancing most of the night. Drank a little. O.K. a lot. Close to 2am and I'm starving. Talk a friend of mine into making the drive to Roadtown. Grab some chicken from Neeto's and back home. It always amazes me that chicken and fries always take so good when you're a little toasted and have one eye open. Good night Irene.

Quito is back after being under the weather for a couple of days. He does his solo act, I stayed to listen for a while and then off to bed. Good night Irene.

Ahh. Friday. As in $0.50 cent wing Friday during happy hour. As in Britton will be making my favorite pina coladas Friday. Quito playing with The Edge tonight. As usual, they sounded great. Rocked the place, no breaks until 12:00. One of his band, I apologize for not knowing his name, sings for a while, and he has a really good singing voice. He usually plays guitar. Once Quito stops, a DJ with one of those laptops with music on it begins. Time to go. Good night Irene.

YAY!!! I'm going to Jost today for nine marvelous days. Already have some food from NYC so I just need to pick up a couple of things at Bobby's, then I'm off to the ferry. I really must replace my glasses, cause I read the schedule wrong. The ferry is a 1:00 pm. out of West End, not 2:00 p.m. The guy who has you sign is always in a bad mood it seems, so he has to tell me to hurry up the ferry is at 1:00. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cloud.gif" alt="" /> Not in the mood, I tell him, uh can't you see we're moving as fast as we can to load my things on the ferry. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/hammer.gif" alt="" /> Then, I really get pissed off, when we still have to wait for a late delivery from Bobby's. The bad angel is poking me and the good angel is telling me to "shut up Sharon". I listen to the good angel for a change and zip it. Take my Jost deep breath, and say to myself "wow you're on your way home". Big smile, put on sunglasses and just soak it all in.

Bun picks me up and as we're driving down the hill by White Bay Villas, I smile and tell him, I don't care how many times I get my glimpse of White Bay, it never gets old. He smiles and says he knows cause I always say the same thing. Get to the campground and hugs all around. I just sit. Bags will eventually make their way to the kitchen or hut, but not now. =Purple Pineapple has their 12th anniversary party tonight, so I'm going to meet some friends, do some eating and drinking. (Hmm, didn't I type that recently). <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> It's kinda early, so it's not crowded, but I hear it gets insane later. Since I don't like people, hopefully, I'll be gone by then. Grab some fish soup and just sit and relax. O.K. time for a blue pineapple (don't ask, I have no idea what'S in it). All I know is it was in a big gallon jug <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> Mmm delicious, so after a while, I decide to get another one. WHOA!! Where did all these people come from. Band Onyan is playing, so I have to dance over to the bar, saying excuse me all the way. Now I know it's time to go back to camp. As usual, I left some things out, but remember, as Onyan sings "what happens at the party, stays at the party". <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" /> Back to camp. No current. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cloud.gif" alt="" /> Generator goes in and out. So I'm off to Great Harbor hoping to grab some food, and watch election results. Turns out Foxys is the only place that has food. Works for me, cause I can eat, drink, go online and watch election results too. Wow. Looks like it's going to be a long night. Back to camp while my boyfriend sends me text every time something significant happens. Of course, I fall asleep before he sends me the last most important text. I find out the results the next morning.

Tonight is Ivan's BBQ. Tonight is the only night, I'm not antisocial. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> I meet a sweet couple from Alabama, and we introduce them to a board game Isha and Rohan looked up online, made a game board for, AND made the pieces. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> They call it Ludi (think of our version of Sorry). Of my gosh, I haven't had that much fun in ages. Made me feel like a kid again. (Of course that could be cause I haven't played Sorry in about 50 years.) <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />
The food was excellent, the people were so nice and it was just a great evening all around. So tired. Good night Irene.
