OP Bluesfan Traveler Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 733 Likes: 2 Rhode Island	No. This was an A300 about 3 weeks ago. Plane starts right at the fence and liftoff looks like not more than 100 yards down runway. Go to "inflight video" facebook page to see video. Take off starts about 2' 40" into video.

MrTim-BTV Traveler Joined: Apr 2019 Posts: 50 Essex Junction, VT	I don't think it's that old, maybe 3-4 years ago tops... the last frame shows the causeway bridge. it's definitely pre Irma though. it's not the whole runway true, but, I think the angle of the shot makes it look shorter than it really is. optical illusion.
